Looking back to the layout structure of traditional schools, the typical layout pattern combining courtyard and axis has been formed. The courtyard space creates the tranquil atmosphere of academy field and provides the inclusiveness of future development. The teaching buildings are designed mainly in the form of courtyard so the students can integrate into nature and relax in the class break. However, the space of quadrangle courtyard is over closed, lacking connection with the outside world. Considering the feature of open space of the school, we shall reconsider to use the semi-open, gray space, corridors etc., for the enclosed courtyard to welcome every student with an open attitude and create the human culture school for the new generation.
